Welcome to Sundowner Designs

From their studios on the shores of Lake Superior, Edith and Bill Wiard create beautiful works of art from natural materials. Using a variety of local and imported woods, Bill turns finely finished wood creations on his lathe. Edith makes handmade paper and uses this and other fine fabric and paper to make interesting and unique pieces of art.
